Black Forest sail table

Sail table, Black Forest style, carved and inlaid in various woods with a particular scene with an eagle that protects the nest in the center of the top, surrounded by medallions with deer, ibex and chamois. Edge carved with edelweiss and flowers on the three feet. Switzerland - City of Brienz, late 19th century - early 20th century. Dimensions cm. diameter 83 x h. 79
